This assignment requires that you use a database available to students through the FSW Library homepage, Opposing Viewpoints in Context. This database provides resources on a wide variety of topics that are considered to be controversial. It will be an excellent source of information for research in college classes.

Step 1: Research

Go to the FSW library (Links to an external site.) to access the database.

Click on “Databases” on the top right-hand side of the screen.

Click on the letter “O.”
<
Click on “Opposing Viewpoints”
<
Select a topic to investigate.
<
Click on “Browse Issues” in the menu on the right-hand side.
<
Click on an issue that interests you.
<
Scroll down to “Viewpoints” or “Featured Viewpoints” sections to read two articles representing opposite perspectives on the same issue.
