you will create a PowerPoint presentation that illustrates your group’s unique perspective of how Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs concepts apply to a surgical patient. All levels of Maslow’s pyramid should be examined in the presentation.

To start, your group should begin by “creating” your surgical patient. Who is your patient? What is their background? Why are they having surgery? This is to ensure the group is working from a common foundation, and expected in the presentation.

Next, decide what type of presentation you would like to create and insert into your PowerPoint. Be as creative as you want. There must be some type of presentation within the PowerPoint.

The group could interview a “patient” and ask questions about the patient’s journey in a respectful, sensitive manner. Be sure to relate the questions back to Maslow’s pyramid. Each group member can create a video clip of their part of the triangle with the “patient” (doesn’t need to be the same person for the patient, as long as the narrative is the same); or one person can do the whole interview while the others work on the final presentation piece. Post the video to YouTube and put the link directly into the PowerPoint. Its a group project however I’m working on it independently so please only create it as if it’s only me working on it.
